STEPHANIE SIBEL
​

Owner and director of Armature and Armature Education, Stephanie took up power lifting at the ripe age of 40, gymnastics at 42 and olympic lifting at 44 and loves both Strength Training and Pilates in all its many forms. A former instructor trainer for Stott Pilates and Breathe Education for over a decade, she loves encouraging instructors to look at Pilates through a wider prism than just the Pilates modailty itself.  She is fully certified through five different Pilates schools, has a Cert IV in training and assessment  and is a Principal Trainer with the PAA. She recently authored six  Pilates continuing education courses for Australian Fitness Network (including Pilates for Strength Training) and FitPro (UK) and presents regularly at Filex and national Pilates conferences.
Stephanie designed and curated Armature Education's Series of Five and presents on all five of the workshops.  
MARCELLE MALAN 

Accredited exercise physiologist and Armature Strength Trainer Marcelle has a speciality in female physiology, a wicked sense of humour and a sharp eye for detail and technique. Born in South Africa, raised in New Zealand and professionally trained in Australia, she has 20 years clinical practice experience. She completed her undergraduate and honours at University of Auckland and her MA at University of Western Australia. Her key areas of interest are functional ageing, mental health and cognition, stress physiology, rehabilitation and pain management. Her special interest is female physiology and promoting a better understanding of the female body in and through exercise science and medicine. She recently authored a continuing education course on menopause, published and sold through FitPro (UK)

 Marcelle teaches components of Armature Education's Series of Five as well as her popular seminars Female Strength Training and Strength Training from Peri to Post Menopause. 

SOPHIE JEFFERIES

Sophie is a pilates teacher, postpartum doula, shiatsu therapist, and mother of two young children. She is passionate about supporting women and their bodies throughout the birthing years and is especially keen on helping women learn how to prepare their body for birth and then recover effectively afterwards. Sophie teaches mother centred pilates in Melbourne and online with a particular focus on preventing, managing and rehabilitating injuries related to pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
She also attends women in their home to provide body centred birth preparation and postpartum care as a postnatal doula and shiatsu therapist.
BROOKE GITTINGS 

Brooke is a Pilates teacher and Personal Trainer who is passionate about supporting others through their learning journey in a friendly and supportive learning environment.
